Show Me Paranormal Investigation ~ USO ~ Davis Club ~ Ft. Leonard Wood
This investigation was performed at the USO Club, once named the
Davis Club, on Ft. Leonard Wood Military base, MO.
June 14th ~ 2008
Case details:
Employees at the club were experiencing alleged paranormal activity and
we were invited to investigate.
History of the USO Club:
Barbara Turner worked at the USO Club. One night at closing time, Brian
Adams offered, or maybe insisted, to stay at the club until Barbara was
done and then he would escort her to her car. Adams was a well known man
in the local area, having ran for sheriff more then once, but never getting
elected. It was unfortunite for Brian that the night he stayed behind
to keep Barbara safe, she had plotted a robbery of the club with three
other men, William Boone, Jerome Creighton, and Kelvin Washington. Adams,
in an act of foolish bravery, ended up dead when one of the males shot
him point blank. All involved in the robbery attempt were convicted of
felony murder, armed robbery, use of a firearm during a crime of violence,
and conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States. Turner
was also convicted of attempting to murder two law enforcement agents
while they were transporting her to a federal correctional institution.
The district court sentenced each of the four defendants to two consecutive
life terms in prison. They now appeal their convictions, raising numerous
issues. The employees at the club report that Brain Adams spirit remains
where he took his last breath and most, if not all, have experienced his
presence and antics.
This is just a general photo of the main area of the club at onset of
investigation

Formal Investigation:
The team separated into groups and went to different areas of the club
with cameras, digital recorders and appropriate meters. Teams switched
off areas through the investigation time.
The Findings:
It seemed like there was absolutely no activity in the club this night,
and you could not have proven per our investigation that the building
is haunted. We did not dispute the claims of the employees there, as
we know one and feel that if she says it is active, then it probably
is. It was just very quiet for us. One of our team members actually
knew Brian Adams fairly well, and he tried a number of things to provoke
his spirit to interact with us, but it seemed nothing was going to rouse
any energy on this night. We got very few orbs, just a handful for all
the members that were there with cameras. Those orbs are also very faint
and on the small side, so they were difficult to locate in the hundreds
of photos we analysed.
The Evidence:
There were orbs, but it seemed only one at a time, small and faint.
The orb in this photo is above the purple bathroom doors, on the right
side.
Another barely discernable small orb, up on the ceiling where the purple
wall meets the ceiling.
Here are two more orbs, hovering up around the ceiling area, one in
the dark area and one on the ceiling itself, almost straight across
from each other.
Yet another single orb on the ceiling, right side of photo
An orb up by the lights on the right, at the top edge of the photo

A much larger orb then we had been getting..
Just seems to be floating about the room watching us, barely discernable
here, it is at the right edge of the photo half on the yellow and half
on the white
The Conclusion:
Hard to call this one. We believe those who have reported the hauntingof
the USO by Brian Adams, as they are not such folks that they would imagine
things or make them up. The setting is conducive for a haunting with
a murder having ocurred right there in the main room that you have seen.
The atmospheric conditions were not conducive to ghostly activity on
this night, so we can ponder that it was just a very off night. Essentially,
it felt like a very dead night in the club, one of the least active
locations that we have investigated. You go away feeling like you have
found absolutely nothing, which is a downer to a paranormal team. Even
in the review of photos and recording, you are only coming up with a
handful of small, faint orbs which are controversial by some. Haunted
or not, it seems our investigation of the USO Club has stopped any further
disturbances as reported by staff there. They say that they are no longer
having the activity that they did prior to our investigation. Maybe
Brian decided to move on if he was bothering people enough for them
to call someone out to investigate him, after all he wanted to be a
Sheriff, and he was a gentleman.
